DK ASIA Chairman Kim Jeong-mo Announces Cash Rewards for Incheon Athletes Winning Medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics





DK ASIA, a real estate development company, announced on the 6th that it will award cash prizes to the South Korean athletes from Incheon who have elevated the nation's prestige by winning medals at the Paris Olympics.

According to DK ASIA, athletes who won gold medals at the Olympics will receive 100 million KRW, while silver and bronze medalists will receive 50 million KRW and 30 million KRW, respectively. The awards will be presented through the Incheon Sports Council.

As a result, three athletes from Incheon will receive these awards. DK ASIA will grant 100 million KRW to Jeon Hun-young, who achieved an unprecedented 10th consecutive gold medal in the women's archery team event. Jeon Eun-hye will receive 50 million KRW for her silver medal in fencing, and Jung Ye-rin will receive 30 million KRW for her bronze medal in judo. The awards will be presented on the 13th of this month.

DK ASIA plans to continue offering these rewards in future Olympics. To instill pride in those affiliated with Incheon and elevate South Korea's prestige, the company aims to provide awards in the upcoming 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, as well as in future events.
