High score in health and eco-friendliness to fit to the policy “Living with COVID-19“

13 companies were listed on the final entries in the ‘Livable House 2021 by Herald Corporation’ greeting its 21st anniversary this year.
10 apartment complexes were submitted only in the metropolitan areas including 2 in Seoul(5 in Gyeonggi-do and 3 in Incheon).
The evaluation items include eco-friendliness, health, community facility and residential culture service to fit to the ‘Living with COVID-19’ trend as well as existing major items which have been applied for the evaluation on apartment complexes including geographical conditions, brands, designs, development values and landscaping.
In accordance with the evaluation, the honor of the Livable House Grand Prize of the Year equivalent to the Minister’s Prize of Land, Infrastructure and Transport was presented to ‘Royal Park City Purgio Geomam Station’ of DK Asia·DK Urban Development. ‘Royal Park City Purgio Geomam Station’ acquired the high scores in most items including geographical conditions, design, development value, eco-friendliness, residents’ health, landscaping and community facility.
Seoul Residential Culture Grand Prize, the Seoul Mayor’s Prize, was given to Gran Xi Seocho by GS E&C. As the large-scale apartment complex with 1,446 households starting tenancy from last June, Gran Xi Seocho got the near perfect scores in geographical conditions, brand, eco-friendliness, community, residential culture innovation and landscaping.
The most competitive fields this year were ‘eco-friendliness’ and ‘healthy apartment’. Every applicant emphasized the merits ‘eco-friendliness’ and ‘healthy apartment complex’.
Jungheung Construction won the Urban Development Grand Prize by its ‘Brain City’ built as the largest industrial complex in Gyeonggi-do.
As the ‘Living with COVID-19’ era starts, the concept on housing has been significantly changed. A house is an office and a learning space as well as a playground. Most of all, a house shall be the most pleasant shelter. DK Asia·DK Urban Development won the honorable Grand Prize(Minister’s Prize of Land, Infrastructure and Transport) in the Livable House 2021’ by Herald Corporation, with its ‘Royal Park City Prugio Geomam Station’, the ‘first high-end resort city in Korea’. In particular, DK Asia·DK Urban Development was recognized with its differentiated expertise and systematic management ability as winning the Grand Prize for 2 successive years.
DK Asia·DK Urban Development introduced the high-end resort city concept ‘Royal Park City’ by applying the first urban brand concept in Korea as selling Royal Park City Prugio Geomam Station in Seo-gu, Incheon last year.
DK Asia·DK Urban Development has been continuously upgrading its apartment complexes even after completing the sales for making more advanced resort city through the ‘power of space’.
Royal Park City Prugio Geomam Station with 4,805 houses was more advanced than the design at the time of sales through ▷specialized exterior and landscape lighting equivalent to the most expensive apartment complexes in Gangnam area, ▷ ‘Royal Honors Club’, the special benefit only for tenants in Royal Park City, and ▷soundproof wall made with transparent tampered glass differentiated by embodying the Ara Waterway.
As the exceptional case in the private construction business, DK Asia·DK Urban Development built the ‘triple construction safety system’ by selecting the Construction Management Agency(CM) as well as the constructor and superintendent. Such system was to make the tenants of Royal Park City Prugio Geomam Station, the high-rise apartment complex with 40 floors for the first time in Seo-gu, Incheon, move in with safety.

Metal structure with lighting and general metal structure are applied on the side wall of each building. ‘Royal Grand Gate’, the rooftop structure of 40m wide, was installed on the rooftops of apartment buildings 103 and 203, the symbol of apartment complexes 1 and 2.
The advanced and specialized exterior and the landscape lighting present the ‘magnificent apartment complex showing the straight and simple architecture line’ during a day and ‘the apartment complex surrounded by splendid landscape lighting’ at night.
The way to school is formed as the ‘way without cars’. Moreover, the way to school is built as the ‘safe way to school for healing’ with a variety of tree species and diversified structures enabling children to develop creative thinking and enjoy fun on the space.
Furthermore, DK Asia·DK Urban Development built and donated the elementary school and the kindergarten attached to the elementary school for children of tenants to go to school immediately after they move in.
To be the eco-friendly green city suitable for its theme ‘resort city’, Royal Park City Prugio Geomam Station differentiated even its soundproof wall for the first time in Korea.
The soundproof wall which is generally made simple and straight was embodied in the wave pattern with Ara Waterway, Han River in Incheon, as the motif. The soundproof wall is made with transparent tampered glass to secure the view and to reduce the stuffy feeling of soundproof wall.
The apartment complex is harmonized with neighboring landscape as looking down on Ara Waterway. In addition, the soundproof wall is designed to be harmonized with the design of entire apartment complex by applying named ‘Hwangga Jinjuseok’(types of yellow pearl stone) and ‘Pocheon stone’(types of granite), the natural stones with elegant patterns, to the bottom of the soundproof wall which generally exposes concrete surface.
The benefits only for tenants are added. The most distinguished community facility is also planned to build the high-end resort city for the first time in Korea. It’s ‘Royal Honors Club’, the community facility only for tenants of Royal Park City.
The community facility dimension in Royal Park City Prugio Geomam Station is 20,703㎡(about 6,263 Pyeong), which is 1.3 Pyeong(about 4㎡) per household. The community facility includes the library, the theater, the Kids & Mom cafe and the fitness club with GX room(group exercise room) for Pilates.
