The growing importance of community facilities in the residential market: DK ASIA’s Royal Park City ranks 1st in brand reputation.

The criteria for evaluating residential space are expanding beyond the product quality of unit interiors to encompass community facilities, natural environments, and daily living amenities. As spaces for rest and leisure that residents can use in their daily lives become increasingly important, construction companies are focusing on creating differentiated residential environments.

Against this backdrop, DK ASIA’s Royal Park City recorded the highest index in the August residential community brand reputation survey conducted by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute. Lotte E&C’s L-EL and Daewoo E&C’s Prugio ranked second and third, respectively, followed by BS Hanyang’s Sujain and Samsung C&T’s Raemian.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute stated that it calculated the brand reputation index by analyzing 8,581,114 big data points targeting 13 domestic residential community brands from July 31 to August 31.

The brand reputation index is calculated by combining participation, media, communication, and community indices based on consumers' online activities. Consumer participation, media interest, online communication volume, and conversation volume within communities are reflected in the evaluation.

In the August survey, Royal Park City recorded a participation index of 173,280, a media index of 218,212, a communication index of 319,673, and a community index of 335,293. Its combined brand reputation index reached 1,046,457, ranking first among the subjects surveyed.

Royal Park City focuses on connecting internal community facilities with natural environments such as walking trails and parks with residential spaces. It features spaces arranged for rest and leisure inside and outside the complex so that residents can enjoy the natural environment in their daily lives.

In particular, rather than simply offering views of nature, it features walking trails and green spaces created so residents can walk through and experience them directly. The design aims to implement a resort-style residential space equipped with residential, rest, and leisure functions by linking community facilities with the external natural environment.

The complex is equipped with diverse community facilities and medical services linked to a university hospital. Infrastructure for nature and relaxation—including a 20-ri (approx. 8 km) red clay trail, themed flower paths, a waterfront park, and private walking trails—has also been developed on a site of approximately 138,000 square meters.

Royal Park City also won the grand prize at the "Best Place to Live Apartment Contest" for two consecutive years. This is the first time a single brand has won the grand prize for two consecutive years in the contest's 30-year history.

Lotte E&C’s L-EL, which took second place in this brand reputation survey, recorded a participation index of 155,981, a media index of 202,182, a communication index of 272,882, and a community index of 339,317. Its brand reputation index came to 970,362. Third-place Daewoo E&C’s Prugio recorded a participation index of 236,384, a media index of 129,819, a communication index of 249,272, and a community index of 317,048, resulting in a brand reputation index of 932,523.

Fourth-place BS Hanyang’s Sujain recorded a participation index of 226,967, a media index of 159,259, a communication index of 273,482, and a community index of 254,666, yielding a brand reputation index of 914,374.
