DK ASIA's 'Royal Park City' Takes 1st Place in July Residential Community Brand Reputation Index

Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzes 8.74 million big data entries across 13 residential community brands

DK ASIA’s Royal Park City took first place in South Korea’s residential community brand reputation survey. Lotte E&C’s LE-EL and Daewoo E&C’s Prugio followed closely behind, continuing the fierce competition at the top. As criteria for selecting apartments expands beyond just location and price to include on-site community facilities and living convenience, competition among related brands is intensifying. The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute announced that it analyzed 8,740,347 big data entries across 13 domestic residential community brands from June 29 to July 29 to calculate the Brand Reputation Index. The Brand Reputation Index is calculated by combining the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index based on consumers' online activities.

Taking first place in this survey, DK ASIA’s Royal Park City scored evenly across key metrics—including participation, media, communication, and community indices—to achieve an overall Brand Reputation Index of 1,231,211. Lotte E&C’s LE-EL ranked second with an index of 1,038,813, while Daewoo E&C’s Prugio came in third with 1,023,110.

Following the top three, the ranking continued with GS E&C’s Xi, POSCO E&C’s The Sharp, HDC Hyundai Development Company’s IPARK, Doosan Enerbility’s Trimage, Samsung C&T’s Raemian, DL E&C’s ACRO, BS Hanyang’s Sujain, Hoban Construction’s Summit, Kumho E&C’s Athera, and SK Ecoplant’s DEFINE. First-place DK ASIA Royal Park City recorded a participation index of 160,921, a media index of 293,678, a communication index of 317,212, and a community index of 459,401, totaling a Brand Reputation Index of 1,231,211. This represents a 5.57% increase compared to June’s index of 1,166,196. Centered on large-scale residential projects, the brand is boosting its competitiveness by delivering high-end residential services, such as differentiated community facilities and South Korea's first urban infrastructure developments. Presenting itself as a premium residential brand, LE-EL is attracting consumer attention with its differentiated designs, community amenities, and premium services.

Healthy Rest and Everyday Healing, Creating Korea’s First Urban Infrastructure
Royal Park City’s residential community facilities and urban infrastructure are among the highest quality and scale in Korea. Typically, luxury apartments boast top-tier interior amenities, but residents face standard urban infrastructure as soon as they step outside the complex. In contrast, Royal Park City sets itself apart by planning and building the entire city as a single premium resort beyond the boundaries of the complex.

Around the complex, a warm lighting system with a color temperature of 3,000K (Kelvin), similar to high-end resorts, has been implemented. In particular, along the private walking trail—which has recently become a favorite spot for residents to stroll and run—custom-designed feature lights have been installed, including signature bollard lights developed in-house by DK ASIA, grape-shaped landscape lights, and signature LED streetlights. In addition, key landscaping features and sculptures, such as tea houses, fountains, and large waterways, are illuminated with color and scenic lighting to create an elegant resort landscape day and night, bringing healthy rest and daily healing to life.

Urban infrastructure is another competitive edge unique to Royal Park City. The various themed flower paths, red-clay trail (Hwangto-gil), and waterfront park span a total area of 138,000 m², equivalent to roughly 19 soccer fields. Korea’s largest flower trail allows residents and local neighbors to walk along the red-clay path while enjoying seasonal flowers, establishing itself as a new healing space for the entire community.

Careful attention was also paid to the pedestrian environment and streetscapes. Permeable artificial granite paving blocks with excellent drainage were used to enhance walking comfort, and street planting zones were built with a width of over 1.5 meters, creating wider and more pleasant green spaces than typical new towns. Furthermore, large street trees standing over 8 meters tall were planted to create a grand streetscape, completing a distinctive urban design that seamlessly connects the inside and outside of the complex into one premium resort city.

Building on the strength of its residential community and urban infrastructure, DK ASIA’s Royal Park City won the Grand Prize at the 'Best Apartment to Live In Awards' for the second consecutive year following last year. This achievement is recognized externally as a major milestone for presenting a new residential paradigm—South Korea's first premium resort city—and for successfully implementing a continuous resort-city philosophy alongside an exceptional residential environment.
