“Wow! Even These Facilities in an Apartment—This Is What a Premium Resort City Looks Like” DK ASIA Unveils ‘Royal Legend Heroes’ at New Geomdan Royal Park City II

“Whenever our kids begged to go to Legend Heroes, we had to drive all the way to Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, get stuck in traffic, and wait in long lines. The kids loved it and had so much fun, but my wife and I were completely exhausted. Now that it’s inside our apartment complex, it’s just amazing. We don’t have to go far anymore, and the kids are absolutely thrilled,” said Resident A (male, 37).

DK ASIA, one of Korea’s top three real estate developers, announced that it officially opened Royal Legend Heroeson the 24th of last month at New Geomdan Royal Park City II(1,500 households), Incheon’s first large-scale post-sale branded residential complex. With this opening, residents—known as Royal Park Citizens—can now enjoy a wide range of sports and leisure activities indoors, regardless of weather or season. For the first time in a Korean apartment complex, residents can play screen golf as well as engage in digital screen sports using real baseball bats and soccer balls to hit or kick toward immersive digital screens.

Legend Heroes is a premium digital screen sports facility that operates exclusively in Korea’s leading destinations, including Lotte World Mall in Jamsil and luxury resorts such as Sono Calm, Sol Beach, and Sono Felice. Royal Legend Heroes features seven sports programs: batting practice, pitching experience, soccer shooting, archery, basketball, action racing, and Candy Slush. These were carefully selected as the most popular digital sports content and are especially suitable for families to enjoy together. Usage fees are discounted by up to 30% compared to Legend Heroes at Jamsil, making the facility affordable and accessible for children, teenagers, and families.

From the planning stage, DK ASIA placed residents’ convenience as its top priority. The facility was located in the underground level of the commercial area to prevent noise from affecting residential spaces, and DK ASIA even chose to forgo potential rental income to maximize resident satisfaction. These decisions have become a key reason why residents feel proud to live in what they consider one of the most special cities in the world.

New Geomdan Royal Park City II has already implemented Korea’s first-ever 5D landscaping concept and offers 38 community facilities and 13 high-end residential services comparable to a six-star hotel. These include a 50-meter-long duplex indoor golf driving range equipped with GDR systems in every bay, screen golf practice rooms, and a fitness center outfitted with Technogym equipment—the same brand used by Korea’s national training center in Taereung. Signature services such as the Royal Train service through world-class landscaped areas, private yacht services using two 55-seat (66 ft) power catamarans, and the Royal Cinema Lounge where residents can watch newly released movies within the complex have already become iconic features. In addition, a luxury hotel-style swimming pool with a bade pool, children’s pool, and dry sauna, as well as a large-scale sauna featuring hot, warm, and cold baths, is scheduled to open soon.

In the medical sector as well, DK ASIA has prioritized resident convenience by signing a strategic partnership with International St. Mary’s Hospital, affiliated with the Catholic Kwandong University College of Medicine—Incheon’s leading university hospital. Through this partnership, DK ASIA introduced Korea’s first resident-only direct, face-to-face medical care system, offering emergency response, fast-track consultation guidance, appointment scheduling, and personalized health information. While some major apartment brands promote differentiation through remote telemedicine partnerships, actual medical care still relies heavily on in-person treatment. Due to limitations in accurate diagnosis and treatment, remote care has seen low utilization and often remains a superficial marketing tool.

Kim Hyung-nam, Executive Director of DK ASIA, stated, “With the opening of Royal Legend Heroes, we wanted to give not only our residents but also tour visitors a warm experience where families can laugh and enjoy time together.” He added, “Choosing Christmas Eve as the opening date reflected our desire to offer a special gift to everyone who visits Royal Park City. A high-end resort city begins with an exceptional community, and we will continue to expand differentiated premium facilities and services based on values that become a source of pride simply because they are created by DK ASIA.”

Currently, Phase 1 of Royal Park City—comprising 6,305 households—has been completed with construction by Daewoo Engineering & Construction, while Hana Bank served as the financial lead. Phase 2, consisting of 16,025 households, has completed land acquisition and is undergoing the approval process. As development progresses step by step, Royal Park City is steadily enhancing its completeness as Korea’s first premium resort city.
