Creating a life of healthy rest and healing in everyday life within the complex
DK ASIA opens ‘Royal Legend Heroes’ at
New Geomdan Royal
Korea’s first premium resort city, Royal Park City, opens an experience space that combines screen and sports so that residents can enjoy a life of healthy rest and healing within the complex.
DK ASIA announced on the 16th that it had signed a contract with Play Legend, the leading brand of screen sports, to open ‘Royal Legend Heroes’ at New Geomdan Royal Park City II (1,500 households), Incheon’s first post-sale brand large complex, marking the first such facility in a Korean apartment complex.
Through the establishment of the screen sports experience space, DK ASIA has created a new foundation for all Royal Park Citizens of New Geomdan Royal Park City II to enjoy a healthy rest and healing of everyday life with family, friends, and neighbors.
Through this, as Korea’s first premium resort city, it is realizing a life in which healthy rest and everyday life become healing within the complex. In particular, New Geomdan Royal Park City II (1,500 households), Incheon’s first post-sale brand large-scale complex, consists of exclusive areas of 59㎡, 74㎡, 84㎡, and 99㎡.
The newly opened ‘Royal Legend Heroes’ is meaningful in that it follows the Jamsil Lotte World Mall and is the first facility of its kind in the Incheon–Gyeonggi area, and also the first to be built within an apartment complex in Korea.
In addition, this facility will be located in the commercial area of ‘Royal Honors Avenue’ at New Geomdan Royal Park City II (1,500 households), and the screen sports items to be installed include seven popular ones — batting, pitching, soccer, archery, basketball, action racing, and candy slush — so that Royal Park Citizens can enjoy a premium resort life of healthy rest and healing within the complex without having to travel far.
Also, unlike existing construction companies that install community facilities as auxiliary facilities, DK ASIA placed the Royal Legend Heroes underground in the commercial area from the design stage to prevent noise from entering the complex, and by creating it inside the commercial facility, the developer gave up commercial rental income to grant Royal Park Citizens residential satisfaction and special pride.
This design philosophy of DK ASIA for Royal Park Citizens is also well shown in the signature service ‘Three Meal Service’ (Samsik Service).
The exclusive space for this service, ‘Royal Trinity Lounge’, operated by Pulmuone Food & Culture and Shinsegae Food, was separated into a commercial facility from the initial design stage, not as an auxiliary facility, to completely block odors and noise that may occur during cooking. Considering that the main reason some complexes recently abolished their three meal services was due to odor and noise problems caused by being located within auxiliary facilities and low usage, DK ASIA’s design method is evaluated as a differentiated solution that enhances both the sustainability of the meal service and residential satisfaction of Royal Park Citizens.
These efforts have led to the achievement of being listed in the ‘Big 3’ of high-end residential brand reputation rankings in September.
The ‘Big 3’ included DK ASIA’s Royal Park City, Hyundai Construction’s The H, and Lotte Construction’s Le-El, and this is the first achievement by a brand developed independently by a non-major developer.
Legend Heroes is Korea’s representative brand of screen sports, which implements various sports through IT technology and screen systems, providing an experience space that can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages. It enjoys high popularity with more than 1 million visitors annually and is currently operated only in premium facilities such as Jamsil Lotte World Mall, Sono Calm, Sol Beach, and Sono Felice.
In fact, the six-star hotel-grade swimming pool equipped with a bade pool, kids’ pool, and dry sauna, the two-story indoor golf range equipped with GDR (golf driving range simulators) covering 50 meters, and the fitness center with world-renowned Technogym equipment, as well as the Royal Train that takes you on a journey back to childhood — together with the private luxury yacht service featuring two 66-foot (55-passenger) power catamaran yachts exclusively for residents — show the essence of Korea’s first premium resort city, Royal Park City.
Kim Hyung-nam, Executive Director of DK ASIA, said, “The Royal Legend Heroes and six-star hotel-level community facilities were prepared so that Royal Park Citizens can fully enjoy a life of healthy rest and healing within the complex. These are special services that cannot even be experienced at premium resorts such as Ananti or Sol Beach,” and added, “The premium resort city pursued by DK ASIA is a place where the entire city is realized as one resort, where every moment of daily life becomes a moment of inspiration even without leaving.”
He continued, “DK ASIA has planted 80% of all trees as evergreens to provide a green natural landscape throughout the four seasons,” and added, “This fall, following the buckwheat flower field and loess healing trail, we are sowing rye so that green sprouts can be seen even in winter, and next spring, with golden rye fields, it will become the largest health and healing attraction in the Seoul metropolitan area located in the heart of Incheon’s downtown. We will continue to introduce differentiated content that will be a special pride for Royal Park Citizens and continuously enhance the value of Royal Park City.”
