“DK ASIA Opens Incheon’s Hottest New Destination”Royal Park City II Launches Korea’s Largest Pure White Buckwheat Flower Fields and the 4km Loess Trail on September 20

DK ASIA announced that it will open the “Geomdan Buckwheat Flower & 4km Loess Trail”at Royal Park City II in New Geomdan, introducing Incheon’s newest hotspot where residents and visitors can experience a premium resort lifestyle and enjoy rest and healing in the heart of the city.

The opening celebration will run from September 20 to October 31, with a special concert for the 2025 Royal Garden Festival—one of Incheon’s signature cultural events—scheduled on September 27. During the festival, visitors can enjoy a wide range of cultural and artistic programs, including barefoot walks along the loess trail, Royal Train tours, fireworks, and more, all set against the backdrop of blooming buckwheat flowers for an unforgettable autumn evening.

The Geomdan Buckwheat Flower & 4km Loess Trail covers 138,000㎡ (40,000 pyeong), making it the largest of its kind in Koreaand the first nationwide case where buckwheat fields and loess trails are combined. The buckwheat flowers, which symbolize “a lover’s promise,” purity, and new beginnings, are expected to reach full bloom by October. Visitors will be able to reflect on love and promises while creating lasting memories of rest, healing, and inspiration.

The 4km Loess Trail spans 4.5km across five courses (A–E), offering diverse landscapes and walking routes. The trail was specially constructed with permeable soil to ensure that even after rain, loess does not stick to bare feet, providing visitors with a comfortable walking experience. Guests can enjoy the warm, soft texture of loess and immerse themselves in true healing within nature.

A highlight of the facility is the nation’s largest and most scenic foot-washing station, capable of accommodating more than 30 people simultaneously, giving families, couples, friends, and neighbors a special moment of relaxation after walking the trails. Additionally, along the E course, 1,500 maple treeswill be planted to create a stunning autumn foliage tunnel, allowing the space to be enjoyed well beyond the buckwheat flower season. Around 80% of the treeshave been planted with evergreens such as red tip photinia, boxwood, golden euonymus, blue angel, cedar, and more, ensuring lush greenery throughout the year and scenic landscapes across all four seasons.

To commemorate the grand opening, the 2025 Royal Garden Festival special concert, hosted and organized by OBSand sponsored by DK ASIA, will take place on September 27. The program will begin with a majestic traditional drum performance, followed by a stage by renowned Korean folk singer Oh Jung-hae. Additional performances include popera singer Ari Hyun, singer-songwriter Jo Jung-min, ballad singer Wax, and veteran K-pop star Kim Won-jun, capped off with a dazzling fireworks display.

Throughout the festival period, every Saturday, the Royal Park City Flower Garden will host live performances, a free game zone, Royal Train tours, barefoot walks along the loess trail, SNS photo events, and a variety of food and beverage experiences. Visitors will be able to savor autumn nights with family, friends, neighbors, and loved ones in an atmosphere of romance and healing unique to Royal Park City’s premium resort lifestyle.
