New Geomdan Royal Park City II Holds Unveiling Ceremony for “Best Apartment in Korea” Award Plaque

DK ASIA announced that on the 19th, it held the plaque unveiling ceremony for the “Best Apartment in Korea” award at the Entry Garden of New Geomdan Royal Park City II in Incheon. The ceremony was attended by 15 guests, including Chairman of the judging committee, Professor Emeritus Je Hae-sung of Ajou University, Professor Kim Do-nyeon of Sungkyunkwan University, Vice President Kim Jae-sik of the Korea Housing Association, Vice President Lee Byung-hoon of the Korea Housing & Construction Association, and DK ASIA CEO Jo Jae-man.

The “Best Apartment” selection competition is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Korea Housing Association, and the Korea Housing & Construction Association. It is the most prestigious domestic award in the construction and real estate sectors, targeting completed apartment complexes, and is held annually to promote a residential culture that enhances overall living quality beyond mere housing. The evaluation process includes document review and on-site inspections by the judging panel, which features professors from leading domestic architecture schools as well as officials from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Korea Real Estate Board, and LH Corporation.

New Geomdan Royal Park City II, which hosted the plaque unveiling ceremony, perfectly embodies Korea’s premier resort-style living focused on healthy rest. It received the highest honor, the Grand Prize, among entries in the 2025 Best Apartment in Korea competition.

At the ceremony, Professor Je Hae-sung, Chairman of the judging committee, stated: “We sincerely congratulate New Geomdan Royal Park City II on winning the Grand Prize and on this plaque unveiling. We deeply appreciate the efforts of DK ASIA’s executives and staff, who have not only set a new standard for high-end residential culture in Korea but also contributed to creating a premium residential complex through 38 community facilities and 13 residential services in this completed apartment complex.”

DK ASIA CEO Jo Jae-man commented, “This Grand Prize is especially meaningful as it reflects the high evaluation of the residential culture, community, and residential services presented by Royal Park City, a high-end housing brand that goes beyond ordinary apartments. We sincerely thank the residents for their trust and support, as well as all the executives, staff, and partners who devoted their best efforts to design, construction, and operations.”

He added, “With the launch of Geomdan District in July 2026, DK ASIA’s high-end residential brand, Royal Park City, will offer a lifestyle where everyday life becomes healing through premium resort-style living focused on healthy rest, not just as a residential space. We are operating the ‘Royal Train,’ allowing residents to tour and enjoy the complex’s beautiful landscaping, and on September 27, we will open the ‘Geomdan Buckwheat Flower & Ochre Ten-Mile Path,’ providing residents with healthy relaxation and visitors from across the country with a year-round attraction in Incheon. In the future, we also plan to create the nation’s largest ‘Ochre Thirty-Mile Path.’”
