“Five Monumental Gates, 330m in Length—the Largest in Korea!”DK ASIA’s ‘New Geomdan Royal Park City II’:
A High-End Resort City Beyond Ordinary Apartments
DK ASIA announced the completion of Korea’s largest 330-meter-long monumental gate, featuring five directional gates to the east, west, south, and north, at Shingeomdan Royal Park City II in Incheon. Designed with a flowing, curved layout that wraps around the complex, complemented by night-specific lighting and premium finishing materials, this gate goes beyond a simple entrance. It embodies the prestige and identity of a high-end resort city, setting a new standard for luxury residential culture in Korea.
The gate is designed as a curved structure following the internal pathways rather than straight lines. The 330-meter stretch begins at the Royal Trinity Lounge located in front of Building 101, continues past the lounge to the main entrance, Incheon’s first indoor golf course, the Entry Garden, secondary entrances, and extends all the way to the commercial area near Building 105. Its irregular, gate-shaped design ensures that residents and visitors naturally experience the luxury resort city as they move through it, making the gate a symbolic centerpiece of the overall circulation.
At night, meticulously designed lighting transforms the gate into a new landmark. Emphasizing the “Gold Line” concept, the structure is highlighted with subtle, warm 3,000K lighting, enhancing visibility, uniqueness, and artistic value. This creates a premium visual experience that bridges day and night, completing the high-end resort cityscape.
To accommodate residents’ flow, five monumental gates—the largest within a single complex in Korea—have been installed. Two gates, each 27 meters long, are located at the eastern and northern entrances, while three more are positioned at the main entrance, secondary entrance, and Entry Garden. This ensures that residents entering from any direction experience the same level of prestige and pride, reflecting a unified design identity throughout the complex.
The gate’s materials match the high standards of a luxury resort city. Its exterior features warm, premium beige natural granite ‘Blanco Muffin’ and high-quality aluminum sheets, hand-finished to achieve three-dimensional sculptural effects. These elements elevate the gate from a functional entrance to an independent architectural work of art.
Shingeomdan Royal Park City II’s monumental gates surpass the scale and originality of the large gates increasingly seen in major Gangnam redevelopment complexes. DK ASIA defines them not as mere benchmarks, but as signature installations that embody the philosophy, technical expertise, and spatial planning know-how of the Royal Park City brand.
Chohyun Wook, Executive Director at DK ASIA, commented, “Following the gates at Royal Park City I, this new monumental entrance does more than mark an entry—it firmly imprints the prestige of a high-end resort city from the very first step. It offers residents a unique sense of pride while serving as a symbolic testament to our brand philosophy for outsiders.”
He added, “Through Korea’s largest and most aesthetically refined gate, Royal Park City II firmly establishes itself not just as a residential complex, but as a leading high-end resort city representing Korea.”
